Trough the IASPEI, the NAV working group recently applied and was awarded a grant for the IUGG Grants Program 2022-2023 (Special Call - IYBSSD2022).

The project title was Toward creating and launching the Network for African Volcanologists (NAV).

From 24 to 27 July, 2023, the NAV will hold its first workshop at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Nyeri, Kenya, to officially launch its activities.
